Lola Mega Volume Mascara - Brown

Image
Lola Mega Volume Mascara - Brown Who for: Anyone who wants to add drama, volume and definition to their lashes instantly. First impressions: The formula and brush seem different After one week: Love the look of my lashes After one month: Brilliant can layer with other mascaras Stockists: Lola MakeUp First of all, I must say that I like the fact that the packaging is different not only in shape but the feel.  For someone who has problems with their vision this is a major plus point for me as I know which mascara I have without looking, I don’t need to wear my glasses to try and find it.  The brush is slightly larger than the standard mascara brush though the tip of the brush is just the right size to be able apply to apply mascara to the outer and inner lashes perfectly.  The formula seems thicker than the Infinite Lash mascara.  You can still apply more than one coat of the mascara without it clumping.  The formula is long lasting and doesn’t drop.  I like

{GIFTED} Cult 51 Eye Serum

Image
Cult 51 Eye Repair Who for: Anyone who wants to visibly reduce fine lines and wrinkles. First impressions: Small amount goes along way After one week: Can see a difference After one month: An improvement in lines around the eyes. Stockists: Cult 51, LookFantastic, I was gifted the product to review by Cult 51.  It is light serum/lotion that a small amount i.e. one pumps does both eyes.  I tap then smooth the product into the areas that I feel needs more help then smooth the remaining around the eye area.  I have also applied it around my lip area and have noticed that the smoker lines have also reduced.  I apply it as part of my morning and evening regime.  I don’t have to use under eye concealer as much since I started to use this product. This photo was taken a month before using the product and the lines and puffiness are noticeable. The appearance of my lines around the eye area and the puffiness is also reduced,

Rodial Smokey Eye Pen

Image
Rodial Smokey Eye Pen - Black Who for: Anyone who wants to apply a thick line or want to blend it to create a smokey eye First impressions: Not sure I want a thick line every day After one week: Not sure After one month: Still not sure Stockists: Rodial, SpaceNK, Lookfantastic This was part of the six free gifts that were on offer from the Dare Magazine that was available to purchase from Asda etc and was the main reason why I purchased the magazine as I had wanted to try Rodial..   I am not into the thick eyeliner look and didn’t like that I couldn’t get too close to the root of my lashes and the gap that was left.   I did like the ability to smudge the liner to create a smokey eye effect though sometimes I didn’t want to smudge it, which meant that I would get a smudge mark below the eyebrow from the tacky liner.   If you were not careful when applying your mascara, you could smudge the eyeliner.   When wearing the eyeliner, I would always apply my mascara

Benefit Hoola Lite

Image
HoolaLite HoolaLite Who for: Anyone who wants a paler bronzer and contour First impressions: Think it may be too pale for me After one week: Perfect multi-use shade After one month: Love it as a contour, blusher and eyeshadow Stockists:   Benefit, Boots, Debenhams I love the original Hoola shade especially in the summer but felt it was a little too dark for me in the winter.  The original is still my go-to as a contour on my face and crease of my eyes.  If I want a more natural look, I use the lite version as the main colour on my eyes and as a blusher.  Both versions of Hoola work well together and separately.  If I want a no makeup look I will use the lite version as contour, eyeshadow and blusher.  When I want a more polished natural look I will first contour with the original then the lite.  Since using the lite version I have had comments of how fresh faced I am.  Using different sized brushes give different looks – big fluffy brush will give a mo

{GIFTED} Lola Infinite Lash Mascara

Image
Lola Infinite Lash Mascara Who for: Anyone who wants the false lash look without wearing them First impressions: Like the brush, formulation isn’t too thick After one week: Where has this been After one month: LOVE IT I MEAN I REALLY LOVE IT Stockists: Lola website I was extremely luck to be sent this by Lola.   The first thing that stood out to me is the brush, it is slightly tapered and very flexible.   The bristles are evenly spaced out with some a little longer.   The short bristles make it easy to apply the mascara to the root which gives the look of tight lining.   The longer bristles help curl the lashes and separate them.   The shorter bristles at the tip of the brush help coat the lashes at the corners.   It is buildable without clumping and there no bits under the eyes after a day’s wear.   I like the fact that I can apply one coat and if I want to enhance my lashes more then I can apply a second coat without my lashes clumping together even if
