Packaging and Bottle of The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% My hubby and I have used two other companies’ versions of Glycolic Acid Toner – Pixi and Marks & Spencer.  This product has a higher percentage of Glycolic Acid than the others we have used.  I have noticed there is a stronger tingly sensation when using this, but my hubby hasn’t.  We use it three times a week.  I have noticed that my skin looks and feels healthier, my make-up goes on evenly and lasts longer.  My hubby suffers from pimples and using this has helped reduce the severity and the duration of the pimple.  He has also noticed that his oil production is more under control when using this regularly.

Packaging and Bottle of The Ordinary Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil I use this product at least twice a week when I am not using Glycolic Acid or a Retinol.  The smell at first put me off.  I have noticed that my rosy red cheeks are not as red as they have been.  My skin doesn’t seem to be misbehaving at the time of the month which I get the occasional spot.  This absorbs into the skin easily and has enough slip to allow you to spend time massaging it in if you use facial massage to tone your skin like I do.  The texture of my skin has also improved I don’t get the sore bumps on my chin.  I believe everyone should have a form of Rose Hip Oil in the skincare arsenal and I have tried the Dr Botanical’s one too.  People are commenting on how my skin looks, the health of my skin has improved.

Bottle of The Ordinary "B" Oil I have used this for a week on the nights I do not use a Glycolic Acid Toner or a Retinol.  This is a light oil that absorbs quickly into the skin without any residue.  I applied this after using the Hydra Mist and Buffet before Natural Moisturising Factors.  When I woke up the next morning my skin felt and looked radiant and healthy.  I didn’t look like I had three hours sleep but I had had eight hours sleep.  To see the benefits, to me, I would use this when my skin needs a bit of help as the other products I use from the range are working brilliantly for my skin.  I will be repurchasing this oil.

Packaging and Bottle of Hylamide Hydra-Density Mist This mist is to be used after cleansing before serums and moisturisers which to me seems weird.  Holding the bottle at arm’s length you can cover your face, neck and décolleté in one go.  Which is how I have been applying it.  We are currently experience some hot weather and I have found that the spray is fine enough to spray over make-up when I want to cool my face down.  It doesn’t disrupt or move my make-up and with the hot weather being around for a few days it is just what I need.  I have only been using it a week and have noticed that at the end of the day my skin isn’t feel tight and I don’t need to rush to take off my make-up.  I would love it to be in a smaller bottle so that I can keep it in my back-pack and use it when I am out and about.  I will be repurchasing this product as I can see many uses for this product.

Box and Tube of Abnomaly Bali This yellow gel like balm smells like pineapples.  I love pineapples.  I apply this as part of my skincare routine and my lips are hydrated all day long.  Lipsticks last longer on my lips and are not drying.  The lines around my lips are not as noticeable after a week of use.  My lips are not peeling, cracked or dry.  My lips are smooth and soft more importantly not sore.

Tube of The Ordinary Natural Moisturising Factors + HA This is a rather thick cream and I didn’t think that my skin would absorb it, but it did.   I use a small amount that covers my face, neck and décolleté.   There is no sticky residue or sheen to the skin like I have had with other moisturisers.   My skin feels hydrated and no longer tight at lunchtime.   My foundation lasts longer on my skin with and without primer, there are no dry patches or dehydration lines.   I will be repurchasing this moisturiser as my skin loves it.

Bottle of The Ordinary Granactive Retinoids 2% in Squalane This is the first retinoid product that I have used, and I am only using it twice a week at night until I finish this bottle and decide whether I will go to three times a week when I buy my next bottle.  After cleansing my skin and applying Buffet and apply this product in the same way as I do with Buffet.  Three drops onto palm on one hand then spread between both, patted onto the skin then massaged into my face, neck and décolleté paying particular attention the areas of concern so lines around my mouth and orbital bone.  In the morning I have noticed that my skin looks better, smoother.  The lines are slowly looking less noticeable.  I would recommend this product if you want to try retinoids.  I definitely will be repurchasing this.

Bottle of The Ordinary Buffet After cleansing, this is the first serum in my new regimen thanks to the guys at The Ordinary I apply three drops to the palms then spread between both palms before gently patting the product around my face, neck and décolleté.  Once I have done this I massage the product in, paying particular attention to the areas I am concerned with e.g. the lines around my mouth and orbit bone.  It doesn’t leave a residue.  My skin does not feel dry or sticky as some serums I have used in the past have left my skin.  The décolleté and neck area which I have neglected until now are smoother and brighter.  I will be repurchasing this product as I love the way my skin looks when I use it and my hubby gives me compliments which is rare.

Bottle of The Ordinary Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12% Three drops of this liquid cover my face, neck and décolleté.   It massages into the skin without leaving a residue.   I have noticed an improvement in the brightness of my skin tone, the fine lines I have around my eyes and mouth are too reducing in appearance.   My skin feels soft and nourished.   Whenever I use this product people comment on how well I look.   Hubby always says that he can tell when I have used it as my skin looks brighter.   Just on that compliment alone I will be repurchasing this product as my hubby doesn’t give out compliments.

Packaging and bottle of The Ordinary Colours Serum Foundation I am using shade 1.0P which is one of the lightest shades and has a pink undertone.  I thought I had chosen the wrong shade as I have a neutral undertone to my skin, but this blends well into my skin and provides a natural semi-matte finish ideal for every day wear.  It lasts all day with or without using a primer, it can be any primer you have it doesn’t have to be one of the Ordinary primers.  It tones down the redness in my cheeks and nose without hiding my freckles which I love.  It is the perfect foundation when you want a natural casual make-up look rather than a smart make-up look.  One pump covers one half of my face evenly using my fingers or my BeautyBlender or brush.  If I have applied it using my fingers or BeautyBlender I always buff it into my skin with a brush.  It does not settle in my fine lines and wrinkles.  Yes, I would re-purchase it and have, I have purcha...

The Deciem products I use I love this primer, I cannot feel that it has silicone in it.  On the days that I don’t want to wear make-up I will wear this along with Hylamide H A Blur.  When applying this product I wait upto 15 minutes after applying the Hylamide before massaging a small amount into my skin with my fingers rather than using a damp BeautyBlender.  It is easily absorbed into the skin and provides a matte base for my make-up.  The fine lines I have around my eyes and mouth are less noticeable.  My foundation blends better when I use the primer than when I don’t.  It lasts all day and doesn’t slip.  I have also found that my glasses don’t slip down my nose as often when using the primer.  For me it is the best primer I have used and the fact I can wear it without make-up is a bonus and will be re-purchasing it.

Various Deciem Products that I use This feels like single cream and I don’t think it will give me the coverage I want.   I am wrong this foundation blends well using either my fingers or my damp BeautyBlender.   It tones down the redness in my cheeks and nose without hiding my freckles.   It evens out my skin and doesn’t sit in any fine lines that I have.   My skin does not feel as if I have any foundation on and lasts all day with or without using a primer underneath.   I like the fact that if I want to build coverage in areas I want without it looking thick or moving the foundation I have already applied. It has a semi- matte finish which I love as it looks natural without looking cakey.   I love the fact that I can use the same colour in both the Serum and Coverage without having to remember what the colour is called.   Because of the formula there maybe two or three shades that I can wear but I haven’t tried YET!   Re-purchase them – yes...

The Hand Chemistry Pro-Repair Skincare for Hands This thick cream absorbs quickly into the skin and I can see a difference in the tone of my skin immediately.  It looks brighter, nourished and firmer.  I apply the had cream as part f my morning and evening routine.  It doesn’t leave a residue or fragrance – I can hold things in my hands as it is not sticky.  Hands look hydrated.  With each application my hands are improving.  There is an improvement of the elasticity, evenness in skin tone.  Though I don’t have wrinkles the texture, firmness and smoothness of them has improved.  They look younger.  I know that some people have put it on their face as they have seen an improvement in the skin on their hands I must admit I haven’t tried it but will when I don’t have any moisturiser.  This is the best hand cream I have used as I have a Dyshidrotic Eczema and have found that some hand creams/lotions that make it worse, they don’t allev...

Niod Multi- Molecular Hylauronic Complex This has a metallic smell almost a copper smell.  It is a straw-coloured liquid – it’s not quite water nor is it as thick as a serum.  I use 3 drops which I spread between my fingers then pat over my face and neck. Starting at the base of neck in small circular motions I massage the serum into my neck working upwards to my face. Once I have massages into my skin, I gently press the serum into my skin.  It doesn’t leave a residue and my skin absorbs it quite quickly. Don’t be tempted to to put another layer on as that would waste the product.  Your skin will benefit from the different molecular weights/sizes as they can penetrate the skin and work at different levels.  I would re-purchase this serum again as I have noticed a huge difference in the texture and tone of my skin.  Fine lines look plumper.

The Deciem products that I regularly use I have used this over my foundation as recommended on the tube and found that it moves the foundation even though it is The Ordinary and when mixed with my foundation, my foundation didn’t blend as well as it did when I didn’t mix the two together.  For me the best way to use this is after moisturiser before primer waiting at least 15 minutes after applying moisturiser and before applying primer.  My skin looks smooth and my make-up looks perfect all day long.  I have noticed that on my no make-up days my skin feels dry by lunchtime.  To counteract this, I apply it even if I am not wearing any make-up.  Since using this product I have had compliments on how well I look.  I will definitely be re-purchasing this product, I just wish I could walk into a tore and buy it rather than online.  Deciem please have a store in Birmingham.
