The BeautyButterfly

This is part of the Philip Kingsley TSV from QVC UK that was aired during September 2022. This shampoo has a mild coconut scent that reminds me of foreign holidays. It is the second version of their Body Building Shampoo I have tried and will be try more of them in the future. I section my hair into four. I use one pump per section working it into my scalp especially the areas that I know where I perspire more. Once I have done that, I thoroughly rinse my hair and then apply a second pump all over my scalp. This time I have more foam this time. Once I have rinsed it off again, I can already feel that my hair is clean. Once air dried it has a voluminous look to it.   

This is part of a QVC UK TSV. The smell is incredible.  This shampoo creates a fine lather each wash. I like to divide my hair into four quarters and use a pump of shampoo which I have already created a lather in my hands working it in to the scalp and areas that I sweat. Then rinse and repeat. This leaves my hair feeling clean and hydrated without being drying.  

I just don’t see why so many people rave about it.  It did not make my eyebrows look fluffy. They are very thin and fine from over plucking years ago. And to slick down flyways when wearing my hair up it just pulls them out.  I do like the brush having two different sides to it, one for eyebrows and the other for slicking down flyways.  I just do not have the eyebrows or hair for it to work correctly. 

This is a great hair mask if you are blonde or like me going grey as this prevents it looking brassy.  I use this once a month leaving it on from 5 to 10 minutes.  Just be careful it can make your hands look stained - you should really wear gloves when applying this but I do it in the shower after washing my hair.  Once my hair is dried be blow dried or air dried, it is soft and manageable.  My greys are vibrant.

 Product: KMS Moist Repair Revival Cream My hair likes it when I use a small amount as if I use more than a five pence piece amount it feels sticky and heavy when it has dried.  I also need to wash my hair more than once a week.  If I use a five pence piece amount my hair once dried is full of life, behaves well and keeps its style.

 Product: Moroccanoil Treatment Who for: Anyone and everyone First impressions: Hope it doesn’t weigh my hair down After one week: Hair feels soft After one month: Hair is less frizzy and hydrated ends Stockists: FeelUnique, Lookfantastic, Moroccanoil This is the final product recommendation from Chris Wenzel (the Blowout Professor).  It is the final step in the new hair care routine to help my grow out my colour and allow my hair to grow long healthier.  Once my hair is ninety percent dry, I apply a small amount and I mean a small amount to my hands – only enough for my hands to glisten rather than drip with product.  Apply this to the ends and only the ends as if I apply it to more than that it might make my hair seem greasy.  If my roots seem frizzy then I will run my hands over that area with what is left on them. 

 Product: Pureology Colour Fanatic Multi-Tasking Spray 21 Benefits Primes, Perfects and Protects Coloured-Treated Hair Who for: Anyone and everyone First impressions: Will this help After one week: Hair is less frizzy After one month: Hair is soft, hydrated, and manageable Stockists: Pureology, Allbeauty, LookFantastic, Justmylook, Feelunique This is the third product recommendation from Chris Wenzel (The Blowout Professor).  This is a great leave-in conditioner and more.  I apply this liberally over my hair once I have gently squeezed out the majority of the water from my hair.  One then I brush my hair and put into my Aquis Rapid Dry Lisse Hair Turban to help it dry.  After a few hours, I remove my turban and spray again.  This spray has heat protection built in so that if I wanted to dry my hair, I know I will have protection.  My hair is less frizzy, shiny, holds its style as well as manageable.

Product: Pureology Hydrate Moisturising Conditioner for Medium to Thick Dry, Colour Treated Hair Who for: Anyone and everyone who wants to hydrate their hair from the beginning of their hair care routine. First impressions: Smells minty After one week: Like the tingle After one month: Hair looks and feels hydrated and  Stockists: Pureology, Allbeauty, LookFantastic, Justmylook, Feelunique This is the second of the four recommendations from Chris Wenzel (The Blowout Professor).  This is a tick but not too thick conditioner that smells minty and it tingles its not a bad tingle just a gentle tingle.  I apply it to the ends first working the way up to the roots.  I leave it on my hair for five to ten minutes.  It rinses out easily and leaves no residue only hair that feels soft hydrated and tangle free.  The minty smell does not last long.  My hair feels soft and hydrated one it has air dried.

 Product: Josh Wood Colour Miracle Mask Who for: Anyone and everyone First impressions: Smells nice After one week: Hair feels hydrated After one month: Hair looks and feels hydrated and soft Stockists: Josh Wood, Boots As I am a subscriber for the Josh Wood Colour Miracle system, I had the offer of receiving the mask.  It is a lovely mask that leaves the hair feeling soft and hydrated after one use.  If you like the smell of the shampoo and conditioner then you will love this as it is the same lemony smell.  I started applying it at the ends then working my way up to the mid lengths and leaving my roots as they do not need the mask.  I leave it on for the time recommended of ten minutes.  I noticed that my hair was easier to brush, was not as tangle as it usually is after washing.  Once my hair had air dried it was not frizzy and look shiny and healthy.

  Product: Makeup Revolution Rehab Lash Care Serum   Who for: Anyone who wants to improve the health of their eyelashes.   First impressions: Hope it works.   After one week: Eyelashes look healthier.   After one month: Slight growth in them but look healthier.   Stockists: Revolution Bea uty, Boots, BeautyBay, Superdrug   Because I have dry eye and use eye drops every two hours, I have noticed that my eyelashes are not as healthy as they were.  Again, it says use at night, but I think it is better to have it as part of my morning routine and apply it before my eye cream.  I have noticed a difference and will be trying to keep up with it.  I always prime it after using it rather than before as I have a habit of getting product in my eye making them sore.

  Product: Makeup Revolution Rehab Brow Care Serum   Who for: Anyone who wants to improve the look and health of their eyebrows.   First impressions: Hope it works.   After one week: Cannot see an improvement.   After one month: Must try and use it more often.   Stockists: Revolution Beauty, Boots, BeautyBay, Superdrug   Before the first lockdown in the UK was the last time, I had my eyebrows wax and tinted.   So, I have noticed that there are patches, and this is why I am using the serum.  It says to use at night, but I forget so I use it in the morning before I apply my eye cream.  I have noticed an improvement.  I must try and keep up with applying it.

  Product: Revolution Haircare Plex 3 Bond Restore Treatment   Who for: Anyone who wants to improve damaged hair.   First impressions: Looks like a normal conditioner.   After one week: Straw like patch of hair had improved slightly.   After one month: Slow improvement in condition of air.   Stockists: Revolution Beauty, Boots, BeautyBay, Superdrug   I bought this as I have a patch of straw like hair at the back of my head rom bleaching it during 2020.  I try to use I every two weeks I have tried better but I do feel a difference in my hair once I have used it.  But I think I need to use it more often that I do and probably a week of using it daily rather than one a week to see a bigger difference than I have.  I will try it and report back.
