Curél Intensive Moisture Facial Cream

Image
Tub of Curé l Intensive Moisture Facial Cream   Who for: Anyone who has dry sensitive skin First impressions: Very lightweight After one week: Skin feels soft and comforted After one month: To be updated Stockists: Curél, Boots This is the final product in the trial set that I had bought from Boots.  A grape sized amount of the cream is enough to moisturise my face, neck and décolleté.  This is called a cream, but I would say that it is a gel/cream that can easily be absorbed into the skin without leaving a residue.  I noticed the first day that I used the regime that my skin felt and looked healthy, soft and hydrated.  Some creams I need to reapply if I have been out in the cold weather that the UK is having at the moment, but I don’t with this as my skin feels hydrated and comforted all day long.  Even the area around my eyes looks a lot better – less dry and smoother.  Can’t wait to try the other two products in the range.  Also Boots please stock the Bo

Curél Moisture Facial Lotion Enrich

Image
Bottle of Curél Moisture Facial Lotion Enrich Who for: Anyone who has dry, sensitive skin First impressions: Is it a toner or moisturiser After one week: Skin absorbs it quite quickly After one month: To be updated Stockists: Curél, Boots This is the first step in moisturisation in the routine.   I wasn’t sure if I should apply it with my fingers or a cotton pad.   So, I tried with my fingers and 6 splashes of the lotion.   I found that 6 is a bit much for my face, neck and décolleté.   My skin loves it and I have noticed a difference in the hydration and sensitivity of my skin.   I use 5 splashes both morning and night after I have cleansed my skin using either both of the cleansers or just one, taking time to massage it in using circular strokes.   Again, I will be buying the full size once I have finished the trial kit.

Curél Foaming Facial Wash

Image
Bottle of Curél Foaming Facial Wash Who for: Anyone with dry and sensitive skin First impressions: Fine foam that won’t dry my skin After one week: One pump is enough After one month: To be updated Stockists: Curél, Boots This is the second cleanser that was in the trial kit that I bought from Boots.   This is great to use as a second cleanse at night following the Makeup Cleansing Gel or on its own as a morning cleanse.   It is recommended to use two pumps of the cleansing foam, but I found that it was too much for my skin and that it was better to use one pump.   As this is massaged into the skin it becomes a finer foam that feels like thick cream on my skin.   Instead of splashing off both the Makeup Cleansing Gel and the Foaming Facial Wash I used my faithful muslin cloth, which removed them perfectly without leaving any residue.   I could also take the foaming wash over my eyes and lashes without irritating them which is great and has helped if not impro

Curél Makeup Cleansing Gel

Image
Tube of Curél Makeup Cleansing Gel Who for: Anyone who has dry and sensitive skin First impressions: A little goes along way After one week: Skin feels less sore After one month: To be updated Stockists: Curél, Boots I am one of those that likes to try something new especially if it is something for dry and sensitive skin.   This is part of dry oil rather than a gel.   I shouldn’t have been worried as this melts into a lovely oil that removes every bit of eye makeup even two layers of Benefit BADgal Bang and their Badgal liner.   For me a test of a good cleanser is the ability to open my eyes to look in the mirror and it doesn’t irritate my eyes.   This didn’t which is great.   I was able to use the gel to clean my lashes which is perfect for me.   I have noticed that my dry eye and soreness of my eyes has improved since using this.   Once I have used the trial kit, I will be purchasing the full size of this.

Revolution The Liner

Image
Revolution The Liner Who for: Anyone who wants to accentuate their lashes First impressions: Fine tip that can create different widths After one week: Great for the flick and fine lines After one month: Like the ability to create different looks Stockists : Revolution Beauty, Superdrug I bought this as I wanted to create a flick and I didn’t have my favourite Benefit Roller Liner.   This is a great alternative.   I like that I can get really close to my upper lashes and that I can create a thin line or thick line depending on how I hold the pen.   The ability to use the tip to create the perfect flick is great.
