Product: Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil Who for: Anyone and everyone who wants to improve their skin First impressions: Strong smell, scary colour After one week: Skin looks healthy After one month: Skin looks and feels healthy Stockists: Pai, Cult Beauty, LookFantastic, John Lewis This is a little scary in colour.  There is a fresh green woody smell to the oil which is absorbed quickly into the skin.  A small amount goes along way.  Skin feels soft and hydrated with no residue once massaged into the skin.  My skin loves it.  I have applied under my night cream or over my subscription retinol with no problems my skin looks and feels healthier the next day.  I use it once a week or when the peeling stage of using retinol is at its height.  

 Product: KMS Moist Repair Revival Cream My hair likes it when I use a small amount as if I use more than a five pence piece amount it feels sticky and heavy when it has dried.  I also need to wash my hair more than once a week.  If I use a five pence piece amount my hair once dried is full of life, behaves well and keeps its style.

 Product: Forever Infinite by Forever Restoring Crème Who for: Anyone and everyone First impressions: The smell After one week: Skin looks good After one month: Skin looks healthy Stockists: Forever Living Great cream but the smell puts me off it.  Hubby does not like sleeping in the same room with me when I use it.  I have to apply it at least an hour before bed so that the smell has gone.  Because of the smell I did not really enjoy using it, but I noticed that my skin looked better when I used it instead of my prescription Retinol.  My skin looked and felt nourished and smoother the next night.  It was absorbed into the skin easily without leaving a residue 

  Product: Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream Light SPF20 Who for: Anyone who felt the original Magic cream was too heavy for them First impressions: Smells lovely After one week: Skin looks healthy After one month: My new moisturiser  Stockists: Charlotte Tilbury, Feelunique, Selfridges This is a fantastic moisturiser with the added benefit of the SPF which is great for the winter months.  It might be a little rich for some, but my skin loved it and it can be a bit finicky and sensitive towards SPF, but it wasn’t to this.  It gave my skin enough hydration and protection against the rainy weather we have had.  I would apply this and then after half an hour apply separate SPF for summer days, as I normally use a SPF of 50.  The fragrance is pleasant and does not last.  It is quickly absorbed into the skin leaving a great base for makeup if you wear makeup on a daily basis.  Skin looks flawless and smooth.

  Product: Beached Rays for days Who for: Anyone who wants a liquid bronzer First impressions: Too dark for me  After one week: Nice mixed with foundation After one month: Great when you want a more bronzer look Stockists: BeautyBay, Beached  This is a great liquid bronzer as you can use it in multiple ways such as on its own, mixed with primer or foundation.  It can be applied using fingers under or over makeup.  A sponge or brush if mixed with foundation or primer.  It is buildable and leaves the skin with a lovely sheen and does not contain glitter.

 Product: Argan + Ultra Rich Body Butter  Who for: Anyone who wants a nourishing body butter to calm their dry skin First impressions: Thick and smells divine. After one week: Small amount goes a long way, hydration lasts days After one month: Even dry areas look nourished and hydrated.   Stockists: FeelUnique, Waitrose My skin has been very dry recently and I purchased this to see if it would help.  It is very thick, and a small amount goes a long way.  It melts into dry skin without leaving a residue so I can put on clothes after applying it to my skin.  My skin is soft and supple with a lovely fragrance from the oils Baobab, Kukui, Moringa and Sacha Inchi.  The fragrance is not flowery it is musky, spicy and woody.  At room temperature is solid or should I say firm and I personally could have done with a spatula to help me get a small amount out of the tub.  I apply to either dry skin or slightly damp skin after having a shower and both ways my skin is soft supple and hydrated.  I l

 Product: Moroccanoil Treatment Who for: Anyone and everyone First impressions: Hope it doesn’t weigh my hair down After one week: Hair feels soft After one month: Hair is less frizzy and hydrated ends Stockists: FeelUnique, Lookfantastic, Moroccanoil This is the final product recommendation from Chris Wenzel (the Blowout Professor).  It is the final step in the new hair care routine to help my grow out my colour and allow my hair to grow long healthier.  Once my hair is ninety percent dry, I apply a small amount and I mean a small amount to my hands – only enough for my hands to glisten rather than drip with product.  Apply this to the ends and only the ends as if I apply it to more than that it might make my hair seem greasy.  If my roots seem frizzy then I will run my hands over that area with what is left on them. 

 Product: Pureology Colour Fanatic Multi-Tasking Spray 21 Benefits Primes, Perfects and Protects Coloured-Treated Hair Who for: Anyone and everyone First impressions: Will this help After one week: Hair is less frizzy After one month: Hair is soft, hydrated, and manageable Stockists: Pureology, Allbeauty, LookFantastic, Justmylook, Feelunique This is the third product recommendation from Chris Wenzel (The Blowout Professor).  This is a great leave-in conditioner and more.  I apply this liberally over my hair once I have gently squeezed out the majority of the water from my hair.  One then I brush my hair and put into my Aquis Rapid Dry Lisse Hair Turban to help it dry.  After a few hours, I remove my turban and spray again.  This spray has heat protection built in so that if I wanted to dry my hair, I know I will have protection.  My hair is less frizzy, shiny, holds its style as well as manageable.

Product: Pureology Hydrate Moisturising Conditioner for Medium to Thick Dry, Colour Treated Hair Who for: Anyone and everyone who wants to hydrate their hair from the beginning of their hair care routine. First impressions: Smells minty After one week: Like the tingle After one month: Hair looks and feels hydrated and  Stockists: Pureology, Allbeauty, LookFantastic, Justmylook, Feelunique This is the second of the four recommendations from Chris Wenzel (The Blowout Professor).  This is a tick but not too thick conditioner that smells minty and it tingles its not a bad tingle just a gentle tingle.  I apply it to the ends first working the way up to the roots.  I leave it on my hair for five to ten minutes.  It rinses out easily and leaves no residue only hair that feels soft hydrated and tangle free.  The minty smell does not last long.  My hair feels soft and hydrated one it has air dried.  

 Product: Pureology Hydrate Moisturising Shampoo for Medium to Thick Dry, Colour Treated Hair Who for: Anyone and everyone who wants to hydrate their hair from the beginning of their hair care routine. First impressions: Smells nice and is thick After one week: Hair looks softer After one month: Hair looks and feels hydrated and softer Stockists: AllBeauty, FeelUnique, Justmylook, Regis Salons, LookFantastic, Pureology This was a product recommendation from the Blowout Professor on TikTok.  This is one of the shampoos that he recommends for thick, coarse hair which I have.  Plus, my hair is colour treated – not for long though.  The shampoo has a pale lilac tinge to it which as first made me worried, but it did not change my hair colour I actually think it has improved it.  The shampoo is thick, and a small amount goes along way.  I spread it between my two palms and then massage it into my roots and scalp along with lather to wash my hair.  Rinse and repeat.  Since I have been making

 Product: Josh Wood Colour Miracle Mask Who for: Anyone and everyone First impressions: Smells nice After one week: Hair feels hydrated After one month: Hair looks and feels hydrated and soft Stockists: Josh Wood, Boots As I am a subscriber for the Josh Wood Colour Miracle system, I had the offer of receiving the mask.  It is a lovely mask that leaves the hair feeling soft and hydrated after one use.  If you like the smell of the shampoo and conditioner then you will love this as it is the same lemony smell.  I started applying it at the ends then working my way up to the mid lengths and leaving my roots as they do not need the mask.  I leave it on for the time recommended of ten minutes.  I noticed that my hair was easier to brush, was not as tangle as it usually is after washing.  Once my hair had air dried it was not frizzy and look shiny and healthy.

Product: Fulvic Health Fulvic Acid Nail Cream Who for: Anyone and everyone First impressions: Smells nice After one week: Look stronger After one month: Nails health has improved Stockists: Victoria Health As you may know that I have issues with my nails they don’t grow properly are ridged and just don’t look healthy.  I have stopped wearing my gel polish so that my nails grow as they have suddenly started to grow curved at the edge.  I apply a small amount to each nail bed and massage into the nail and nail bed.  It smells gorgeous lemony which lingers after being massaged in, it disappears into the skin without any reside.  I apply it once a day and I have noticed an improvement within a week of using it.  I know that it won’t solve the ridges or curving but it will help them grow stronger and healthier.  This is one of those purchases that will be on repeat as it should be in everyone’s nail care routine.  

Product: It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-in Plus Keratin Who for:  Anyone and everyone who wants to look after their hair in one easy step First impressions: Lovely Smell After one week: Hair feels soft After one month: Condition of hair has improved Stockists: It’s A 10, Victoria Health I bought this I had watched a hairdresser on Tik Tok (Blowout Professor) describe the products needed to help maintain and grow your hair which is what I am in the process of doing.  And I had seen a lot of articles on the range that I wanted to see what all the hype was about.  One use and I am impressed.  I can use it with a hairdryer or leave my hair to dry naturally and the fantastic results are the same.  My hair looks and feel healthy, manageable and is shiny.  The smell is divine.  I have patches of hair that are damaged from last year’s bleaching.  It is not noticeable when I have sprayed this on my hair section by section so that it is evenly covered, using my Tangle Teezer Wet Detangler so that each

 Product: Canal Instrument Glass Nail File and Buffer with Case Who for: Anyone who wants to look after their nails First impressions: Brilliant kit After one week: Perfect After one month: Ideal for those on the go Stockists: Amazon I was sent this to review.  I am glad I did it is a great nail file that is strong enough to cope with the thickest nails.  The best thing about glass nail files is that not only do they not damage the nail, but they are easy to clean – just rinse under a running tap.  Sine using these the health of my nails has improved.  I use the glass file whenever I have a snag.  The buffer is for once a week when I give myself a manicure.  It is easy to know which side to use first as they are labelled.

Cleansing Oil Who for: Anyone and everyone whether they wear makeup or not First impressions: Love the orangey smell After one week: Makeup is removed easily After one month: Not only makeup gone skin looks healthy Stockists: MAC Cosmetics, Boots, John Lewis I was sent this sample to try.  And I am glad I did.  The smell/fragrance is wonderful and makes it a pleasure to use.  It does not last long.  This removes makeup even three coats of waterproof mascara with ease.  I apply a small amount to my hands so that they glisten not drip with the oil.  Then I massage it into dry skin paying particular attention to my lashes to remove my mascara.  To remove it, I use a damp muslin cloth.  It leaves the skin feeling soft and hydrated without residue.  This is a great second cleanse at night and a refreshing cleanse in the morning.

  Product: The Quick Flick Who for: Anyone who wants a flick but cannot do them First impressions: Hope you can see the flick over the hooded eye After one week: Its great gives that polished look After one month: Simple quick and easy look Stockists: Superdrug  I am envious of those who can o the perfect flick day in day out as I cannot.  I have tried numerous times to do it and it just does not work.  What I like about this is that you can get different thickness and colours – I bought the grand point in intense black.  As it is a stamp you can place it in various positions at the outer corner of the eye to create different looks not just the position of the flick but always the width of the line drawn afterwards.  This should be in everyone’s arsenal as it works with every time of fashion – jeans and T-shirt, smart casual, casual and work wear. 

 Product: BeautyPie Triple Hyaluronic Acid Elastic Lifting Eye Serum Who for: Anyone who wants their eye area to look firm and lifted without surgery First impressions: A little goes a long way After one week: Look more awake After one month: Eye area looks so much better Stockists: BeautyPie With using eye drops on a daily basis I have noticed that they dry out the delicate area around my eyes and my age I have to use an eye cream and this own has the benefit of temporarily lifting my hooded eyes which makes any eyeshadow or eyeliner I wear better.  My eye area looks brighter, less puffy and luminous.  I have tried eye creams in the past both this and BeautyPie Uber Youth Super Eye Energy Peptide-Infusion Cream I have noticed a difference in my eye area that I like and will be carrying on with them.

Eye Pencil - Coffee Brown Who for: Anyone and everyone who wants a change from black First impressions: Lovely rich colour After one week: My new black After one month: My new go to eyeliner Stockists: MAC Cosmetics, Boots, John Lewis This is the final piece from the Summer Vibes Kit exclusively available from Boots.  It is a great alternative black eyeliner.  It is brilliant tight liner too.  The creaminess of the eyeliner makes it a dream to apply above the lashes without dragging and in both the top and bottom waterline.  Once applied it can be smudged for a softer look or left alone for a stronger look.  It does not budge.  It’s a great eyeliner to any look that you might be wearing – jeans and t-shirt or smart, even smart casual.

Prep and Prime Fix + Original (Mini) Who for: Anyone who wants to make sure that their makeup lasts all day First impressions: Smells nice After one week: Makeup looks perfect After one month: Stays put even in the heat or rain Stockists: MAC Cosmetics, Boots, John Lewis This was part of the Summer Vibes Kit that was exclusively available at Boots.  I must admit that I have never used a setting spray before this one so cannot compare it to others.  I have tried this spray in various ways such as spraying it before powdering or concealer as well as after applying my makeup and I can hand on heart say that my makeup lasts.  If I use it before applying powder etc I would wait a few seconds for it to ‘dry’ before continuing. I have also sprayed a shadow brush with it to enhance the Amber Lights shadow to give it a shinier look.  This is more than a setting spray, and everyone should have one.

Extended Play Gigablack Mascara Who for: Anyone and everyone First impressions: Narrow bristle brush After one week: Brilliant everyday mascara After one month: Maybe my new go to  Stockists: MAC Cosmetics, Boots, John Lewis This was the mascara included in the Summer Vibes Kit exclusively available at Boots.  I am used to using a rubber brush with my mascara rather than a bristle brush.  This is a brilliant brush that coats every lash and separates them.  It does not clump, drop, or smudge.  Even when I am using my eye drops.  It is great everyday mascara as it gives definition to your lashes.  I think I will be replacing my Benefit Badgal Bang with this.

Eyeshadow Amber Lights Who for: Anyone and everyone First impressions: Very shimmery After one week: Perfect for everyday wear After one month: So adaptable Stockists: MAC Cosmetics, Boots, John Lewis This was one of the products from the Summer Vibes Kit from MAC only available at Boots.  I am very wary of wearing eye shadows – the drop off getting into my eyes as they can irritate my eyes.  I was also worried hat as a woman of a certain age shimmery eye shadows on hooded eyes might not work.  I was wrong.  It can be swiped over as a single colour, or you can build the intensity of the colour to create a smoky eye.  It can also be used in the centre of the upper eye lid to provide highlight when used with matte shadows.  It can be applied using fingers or brushes depending on what finish and look you are wanting to create.  

 Product: M.A.C. Satin Lipstick Twig Who for: Anyone who wants a perfect nude with a satin finish First impressions: The perfect shade After one week: Brilliant for whatever the occasion After one month: The most perfect lipstick I have ever worn. Stockists: MAC Cosmetics, Boots, John Lewis This was part of the Summer Vibes Kit from MAC only available at Boots.  This is the first lipstick that I have tried from M. A. C. and I am pleased with the results.  This is the most perfect nude for me, and the finish is just lovely.  My lips or I should explain the skin on my lips are very dry and every lipstick that I try makes them peel.  Even if I have used a scrub before putting on any lipstick until this one.  No peeling and lasts.  This is the nude that can be worn with jeans and t-shirts, or smart casual or even that special work out that you wear when you want to seem confident in a situation that makes you feel unease.  The creamy texture of the lipstick is easy to apply either directly

  Product: ELF Enhancing Lash & Brow Serum   Who for: Anyone who wants to improve the look of their lashes and brows   First impressions: Wish the brush was a spoolie   After one week: Improvement in how they look   After one month: Can see new growth in my brows and lashes seem stronger   Stockists: ELF Cosmetics, FeelUnique, Superdrug   I was sent this product to try from one of the many magazine beauty clubs that I subscribe to.  The only issue I had with this product was the applicator I would have preferred a spoolie rather than the fine brush.  Within one week of daily application during my morning skincare routine I noticed an overall improvement in the look of my eyebrows and lashes.  Within a month there was new growth in an area of baldness in my brows.  This is the best one that I have used so far and I will keep using it until I have finished it then re-assess the look of my lashes and brows.

    Product: ELF Lash It Loud Mascara   Who for: Anyone who wants mega volume that your lashes look fuller, bolder, and longer   First impressions: Strange Brush   After one week: Love the way, my lashes look   After one month: The volume   Stockists: ELF Cosmetics, FeelUnique, Superdrug, Boots   I was sent this to try from one of the many magazine beauty clubs that I subscribe to.  The brush is different to other mascaras I have used as the bristles are slightly further apart.  I can get into the inner corners without any problems, and they are emphasised brilliantly.  I did not notice any smudges or drop off, and I wore it when it was raining heavily and extremely hot.  It is a great mascara for everyday wear.

Product: Josh Wood Airbrush with tool   Who for: Anyone who wants to cover root growth.   First impressions: Excited to try.   After one week : Love it.   After one month: Love it.   Stockists: Josh Wood Colour   I was sent this as part of my order as I had joined their auto-delivery for the No 5 with Copper Gold Shot.   Which was a surprise and so helpful as I do not dye my hair as soon as I see the grey roots but every six.   This means I have an inch of growth.   This covers it perfectly and the brush helps blends the product in so that there are no hard lines.   This is a great product which I will be repurchasing, and the brush is the perfect partner.  

  Product: Toni & Guy Illuminating Hair Perfume   Who for: Anyone who wants to refresh their hair and add a shine.   First impressions: Smells nice.   After one week: Not sure it is for me.   After one month: Definitely not for me   Stockists: Superdrug, Amazon   I must be honest I had great hopes for this as I wanted it to be great and make my hair look and feel great.  The smell was fine even okay it was not something that would make me want to use it regularly.  My hair is damaged from all the bleach last year and I have not grown it all out yet, but this emphasised the damage – it made it look and feel like straw.  I did not spray it directly on my hair, I sprayed it on to a Denman Boar Bristle brush then brushed it through my hair. Still look like straw and I had to wash my hair the next morning as it looks oily and lifeless which is not my hair.  Sorry Toni&Guy I will not be buying this again.

  Josh Wood Colour Miracle System no. 5 with Copper Gold Shot This is the reason that I chose this range as I have dropped my base colour down one number and changed my Colour Shot.  Why?  When I was in my twenties, I dyed my hair using Clairol Ultress Y43 as I love the redness in my hair – I should have been born a red head.  I spent my weekends during Secondary school dying my hair with henna to make it red.  So, when Josh Wood Colour brought this out and it was time to dye my roots, I needed to buy it.  All I can says is I love it; I love it that much I set up the auto delivery so I will get it every six weeks to cover my grey roots.  I am always happy with the results that I get whenever I use this brand.  I love the redness in my hair that this has given me.

  Product: Simple Kind to Skin Micellar Cleansing Water   Who for:  Everyone and anyone   First impressions: Will this remove my eye makeup easily.   After one week: Removes Benefit BadGal Bang with ease.   After one month: My eyes are not irritated.   Stockists: Simple, Boots, FeelUnique, Amazon, Morrisons   After having issues with using TooFaced cleanser on my eyes and OMG the sting, I bought this so that I would not have to suffer any more.  This is kind to the skin around my eyes without irritating them and making the dry eye worse.  Before using the TooFaced Cleanser, I will soak two cotton pads with it and leave them on my eyes for two minutes then gently pull them down.  Then fold them in half and wipes them along the top lash line carefully to remove any remaining eyeliner and mascara.  I have also found that the drops I use for my dry eyes leaves a film that pills, this removes it and refreshes my eyes.  

  Product: Mane 'n' Tail Deep Moisture Shampoo   Who for: Anyone and everyone   First impressions: Its blue.   After one week: Dry patch of hair soft and hydrated.   After one month: Hair has softness and bounce.   Stockists: Boots, Superdrug, Mane and Tail, Lookfantastic,   If you have used the original, you will be shocked to see that this version is blue.  A nice silvery blue.  This has the same smell as the original the only difference is that it has more moisturising benefits.  I used a size of a 10 pence piece to wash my hair.  The first wash did not foam up as much as the second wash, the bubbles are fine and easily washed out my hair.  It leaves my hair feeling soft and hydrated and when dry has a bounce and softness. 

  Product: Josh Wood Miracle Conditioner for Dry, Damaged Hair   Who for: Anyone who wants to Improve the health of their hair and maintain their colour.   First impressions: Smells gorgeous.   After one week: Hair feels healthy and soft.   After one month: To be confirmed.   Stockists : Josh Wood   This is the accompanying conditioner to the shampoo.  It has the same gorgeous floral with citrus undertones smell which I now associate with Josh Wood Colour.  As this is thicker than the shampoo, I only needed three pumps.  Once I applied it I then brushed my hair with my Tangle Teezer Wet Detangler to make sure that it is evenly distributed through my short hair.  I left it on for five minutes.  It washed out easily without leaving any residue.  Once it had dried naturally my hair was more manageable and had volume which it has not had in a while.  This I think will be my every-day conditioner.  This is my hair four days after using the Miracle Shampoo and Conditio

Product: Josh Wood Miracle Shampoo for Dry, Damaged Hair   Who for: Anyone wo wants to improve the condition of their hair while maintaining their colour.   First impressions: Smells gorgeous .   After one week: Hair feels soft and has volume.   After one month: To be confirmed.   Stockists: Josh Wood   I bought this as I wanted to maintain my colour and improve the health of my hair.  Having bleach my hair throughout last year and now deciding to grow it long, I need all the help I can get.  This smells gorgeous and of a similar vane to the conditioner in the hair dye system – floral with a citrus undertone.  I used 5 pumps each wash, the first one did not create as many bubbles and the second wash.  It washes out of my hair easily leaving it feel hydrated.  I definitely needed the coordinating conditioner for my hair to feel soft.  I think this will be my every day shampoo.   This is my hair still full of volume, manageable and washed four days earlier. Product: Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes   Who for: Anyone who likes to wear Volumising, lengthening and lift-effect mascara.   First impressions: Weird shaped brush   After one week: No dropping, no smudging simply great wear.   After one month: OMG my lashes are great.   Stockists: Charlotte Tilbury, CultBeauty, FeelUnique, Harrods, John Lewis, SpaceNK   Heard the hype about this and as I love my Benefit Badgal Band mascara.  So, I thought I would ty this and it is a god alternative to benefit.  The brush is weird as it has flat edge which I noticed that it helped my lashes curl which is great as I do not like lash curlers as I have a habit of trapping skin in it.  It is a great black and formula is not a sticky one as in my lashes do not clump together.  It dries quickly so that you can apply a second coat without any issues which is great.  My lashes look long and healthy.  

Never have luxurious toilet paper delivered when your connoisseur husband is around as it will disappear and take ages to find it and when you do you notice rolls missing.  The reason is the toilet paper is that good that he has been taking a roll with him to work as his delicate posterior likes the softness of the paper and durability of the thickness of the paper.   #andrexartsandcrafts       #Andrex_TheInsiders       #TheInsidersUK

  Product: Charlotte Tilbury Rock 'n' Kohl – Bedroom Black and Barbarella Brown   Who for: Anyone who wants a great eyeliner and able to create a smokey eye.   First impressions: It is very creamy.   After one week: Does not smudge.   After one month: Easy to blend to create smokey eye.   Stockists: Charlotte Tilbury, CultBeauty, FeelUnique, Harrods, John Lewis, SpaceNK   OK I am a Benefit girl but sometimes I like to try new eyeliners – Fenty and Haus Labs.  And I have tried her Light moisturiser so why not try her eyeliner.  It does not irritate my eyes, last longer does not smudge.  I tried both the Barbella Brown and Bedroom Black.  I used them both in the tightline and the top lash line and did not suffer sore eyes.  It removed easily with Simple Micellar Water without me rubbing or scrubbing my lash line.  Though these pictures look like the same eyeliner they are not.  The next colour I will try is a green.
