I was lucky enough to win this Eye Pencil from GlamGleek for being their reviewer of the week.


This pencil is BRILLIANT.  I can smudge it; I can blend it or leave it alone.  Once I have applied it, it stays where I have put it.  I have used it to draw a thin line close to my lashes and a thicker line when I am not wearing eyeshadow.  It stays all day and is easily removed with Micellar Water (I used IT Cosmetics) and a cleansing balm (again IT Cosmetics).  I did not have panda eyes, this attractive black rings around your eyes when eye make up won’t come off.  You can easily create a winged eyeliner look with it.  It doesn’t drag across the eye lid like some pencils can and the ability to increase or decrease the amount of ‘lead’ showing is great as this  helped me create the winged part of the liner look by placing the pencil against my eye and slowly pulling it down towards my lash line.  I have had a look at their website and the colours – are all the colours I like to wear.  I think I will treat myself to the grey one next.

Fenty Beauty Icon Semi Matte Lipstick

These are sample sizes which are generous in size.  They are a semi-matte lipstick and smell delicious of cocoa. They are very pigmented which means that they can be applied straight from the bullet, with a brush or with your fingers depending on the look you want to create.  They are long lasting and did not make my lips peel or feel dry.  Pose Queen – is a colour I would wear on those days that I am doing the weekly shopping in jeans etc. It great a great nude and I would wear it on my cheeks too maybe not my eyes – well that’s something to try in the future. The MVP – now this is the date or special occasion lipstick that you want to wear when you want everyone to notice you.  You want to feel powerful. Again, I might wear it on my cheeks – a small amount applied with fingers. Scholar Sista – perfect colour for the office and those Brunch dates.  It’s a shade that will go with everything and make you feel polished, professional.
