 It looks like it should be painted on my nails rather than my cheeks and underneath my eyebrows.  It looks shimmery too.  I am 42 and feel that it maybe not right for me but I will try it anyway.  After applying my make-up, I dot three dots of product along the top of my cheek bone and blend it in with my finger.  It looks luminescent and leaves a soft glow to the tops of my cheek bones.  Under my eyebrow I dot one dot of product and again blend with my finger, it looks natural.  When I use it under my foundation I put a swipe of the product along my cheek bones, my forehead, centre of my nose and chin.  Then blend it with my BeautyBlender.  For quickness I mix one swipe of the product with my foundation and then apply it with my BeautyBlender.  For me this is a product to use when I go out and want to look refreshed and glowing but not in an over top way.

I have never blogged before this first post, so I thought I had better introduce myself and why I am beginning blogging. I am 42 years old and a mom to three wonderful caring boys (19, 13 and 12) and I have a very understanding loving husband without their support I couldn’t do this. So, in Spring 2015 I was a teaching assistant in a Junior school – loved that job.   I had to have some time off as while backing display boards on my own I caused my back to spasm.   I was diagnosed with bulges on my spine at the base of my neck, middle of my back and the bottom of my spine.   When I went back I couldn’t do some of the duties I did before because standing for long periods causes my back to spasm.   My health both physical and mental deteriorated In Spring 2016 (my body must not like Spring) I had a pain in my stomach and I was constantly being sick – no I wasn’t pregnant.   I lost a lot of weight and didn’t like leaving the house in case I was sick. ...

My Skincare

Before reviewing products, I thought it best to describe my skin before and during my depression at it’s worst so that you will be able to understand my comments regarding the products I have reviewed. I was one of those lucky ones that during my teenage years I didn’t have acne.   Sorry Caroline Hirons (doyen of skincare) I used soap and water – imperial leather to be exact. I was in my twenties before I used skincare ranges such a Decleor, Gatineau, Elemis and Liz Earle. My dad always said I hadn’t washed my neck properly as I had lines around my neck even as a youngster.   I had dark brown hair – I have now embraced my grey, so it is salt and pepper hair.   I have hazel eyes, very pale skin that burns easily and never tans.
